So I won my first ever item on eBay. I have been telling everyone I talk to about how I am so excited that I won my first ever item on eBay. Seriously, I can think of at least six people since Friday that I have shared the excitment of my "eBay win". They send you an email and say "you won" it's SO EXCITING that you almost forget that you have the pleasure of paying for whatever you bid on and you feel like you have won a real prize.
So, anyway, I pay for my item. Then when I get my confirmation I realize that I hadn't updated my address in eBay so its going to our old apartment. Yikes. I email the seller and I still haven't heard from them. I'm feeling kind of stupid and now my item is being shipped via FedEx to my old address, they don't have package intercept (thanks, Matt for pointing this out) so I will wait until tomorrow and they say that after it isn't delivered because its the wrong address I can go and pick it up at the FedEx location. Hopefully this all works out and they don't just leave it on my old porch for the new tenant to enjoy (like I did for several months with InStyle magazine that the previous tenant paid for.....) We shall see.
BUT back to the question of me losing my mind. I am hoping the seller will email me back. I mean c'mon, please acknowledge that it's the wrong address or SOMETHING. And so I'm clicking around in my eBay account. Trying to figure the dang thing out. Then I have this little "1" by my name. It's FEEDBACK. How can I have feedback? The person says in December that I am a great eBay-er??? What? BECAUSE THIS IS NOT MY FIRST ITEM. I've won on eBay before...about six months ago. And now that I remember what I bought, I also remember that I was just as excited then about "my first win on eBay" So basically if I can just keep forgetting parts of my life it will continue to be super exciting because everything is NEW!

I LOVE that you are not ashamed to tell this story to all of us. You always make me laugh ;)And I don't care how close to 30 we are at this point, we are still not OLD!
Thanks for making me laugh out loud. You crack me up!
YOU BOUGHT SOMETHING BEFORE?!?!! What? how much? Where did it go? Oh dear. Poor Matt.
Goodluck getting the chair.
love ya
Sweet. Now that I AM 30 (referring to BrittanyB's comment:) I hope to enjoy many of these moments--the winning part, of course. (And I can just hear Matt explaining the differences in FedEx and UPS, love it!)
awesome. You are totally a winner. Hey, Lisa what is your email address? mine is still gemdancer0@msn.com, and I have some Georgia questions for you- we might be moving there in Dec.
Thanks!!
hahahah that's hilarious!
this post seriously cracks me up!! how have you been??
hey! I only have 2 lenses - the 18-55mm that came with the camera and a 50mm f1.8. I use the 50mm for pretty much everything. If I could've afforded the 50mm f1.4 or even the f1.2 I would've done that. One I don't have but would like is the 24-70mm L series. Apparently it's great (but also costs about 1600cdn). I'm sorry I'm not much help. I love the lower fstop (1.8, 1.4, 1/2)because you can let in more light and get the wicked bokeh effect. Hope that helps a tiny bit :)
Thanks Lisa for making me and Uncle Chris laugh out loud today, and feeling much younger 44! And what did you win! Too bad everyday can't be a WINNER day! Miss you guys!
Hey! How have you been? I'm ready for another Calloway Garden Update! :)
